One of the best boys basketball teams in Wheaton history, the 1962-1963 Warriors finished as the runner-up in Region 6 after defeating Brainerd. They lost to Sauk Centre in the Region finals. The players included Jerry Schultz, Curt Fabel, James Hennen, Ron Kaess, Kenneth Boe, Vernon Riddle, and Jim Satter. In this game at the Wheaton gym, the Warriors defeat the Detroit Lakes Lakers 69-53.

The 1989-1990 season was the first year the Warriors played in the Pheasant Conference, which they won handily. The Warriors went 20-3, setting school scoring records, but fell to Hancock in a big upset in the District 21 semifinal game.
